IT Coordinator
The IT coordinator requires minimum 5 years of maintaining IT systems and networks to execute technical and administrative
Tasks. He/she must maintain our computers and network systems working to their maximum capacity with greatest
efficiency.
REPORTS to: Division Manager
Duties and Responsibilities
Respond to requests for service and incidents related to Aerial computer technology
Provision equipment, including but not limited to desktops, laptops, and mobile devices
Produce documentation on use of hardware, software, and computer systems. Produce user instructions on
resolutions to common problems.
Provide level 1 support of company software systems consisting of BOP, Project Websites, Executive Dashboard, Estimating Ops, Job Profile, CRM
Provide IT problem resolution and incident response for 70+ employees
Configure and maintain company computer systems - servers, virtualization, network hardware, firewall, WiFi, PCs, printers, & mobile devices. Ensure the reliable operation of these entities.
Install and upgrade hardware components and software related to company IT infrastructure - Windows Servers, Linux Servers, Virtualization Technology, VOIP/PBX phones, Building Access Control, Network Equipment, Security Cameras, Database Systems, etc.
Administer Office 365, Google G Suite products and manage other SaaS (Software as a service) subscriptions on behalf of organization
Manage Active directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, Azure Synchronization of Microsoft Windows domain environment
Perform regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures
Test, configure, and update software used in Electrical Construction industry
Responds to security and usability concerns related to information technology
Establish and support positive relationships with external vendors in order to implement technology solutions for organization
Use programming knowledge to automate routine tasks and extend functionality of software used by organization, specifically PowerShell & Google Apps script
Manage IT service ticketing platform used to intake & track employee service requests and incidents
Assist training & development team with creation of training materials and training programs for effective adoption of technology and solutions
Extract and transform data from heterogeneous systems for consumption by construction management teams and company leadership
Implement and manage infrastructure solutions hosted in Google Cloud environment
Ensure successful data flow between separate IT systems, specifically MySQL & SQL Server database systems
Work with internal users, external users, & projects stakeholders on analyzing business requirements and identifying opportunities for software enhancements
Continuously devise ways for improving company workflow and operations via technology solutions
Perform testing on software as required
Lead & mentor junior staff of IT team
